postheadericon Birthday #1 & all about Elon!

The first birthday we celebrated in April was our little Elon.  She is now seven!  This little girl is so full of personality and has really become her own person.  She keeps us on our toes and also keeps us laughing...constantly!  She was excited to get a "big girl" bike for her birthday...
Elon wanted a "Friend" birthday this year, so we had her party at a local place to celebrate.  She is my most social child and she really enjoyed having this time with all her friends and cousins...

Cute cousin Levi :)

One thing we are figuring out is Elon is not a frilly girl, and even though she is fine with a bow in her hair and enjoys a pretty dress on occasion - she prefers bikes, the color blue, soccer, and even superhero's!  One of her friends gave her some power rangers for her birthday
and it was her favorite gift...Lol :)

Here are some pictures of her in action on the soccer field (before I took the bow out).  She really loves playing and is not afraid of the ball or afraid to get into the action!

Camden stealing Harper's chair to watch the game...stinker!

Also this month Elon and her daddy planted a garden.  Cole is doing something special with each of the kids to spend one-on-one time with them.  He and Case are getting certified for Scuba diving.  He is hunting with Camden, and Elon's choice was to plant tomatoes.  This was Cole's first garden attempt but he loved doing this with her.  He is even more motivated since Elon told him that she wanted to give all her tomatoes to people who did not have any food.  How sweet is that???  I love this little girl :)

These are the labels Cole printed for "Elon Farms"

Happy Birthday sweet girl!  We love you so much :)

I think that is totally sweet that she wanted to give her food to those who don't have any. The labels for her garden are so cute too!
